Northlake Tavern and Pizza House

Nothing says fast food like pizza, which is why Northlake Tavern and Pizza House on Northlake Way is one of the most popular options near the University of Washington. This pizzeria is a quintessential college hangout—complete with original cartoon paintings by Seattle's two-time Pulitzer prize-winning political artist, David Horsey, adorning its walls. The eatery has a fun vibe, and it's not only known for great pizza, but also for the Husky Legends Night. The event is held every year near the end of the Husky football season and always features appearances by Husky football legends, the Husky band, and Husky cheerleaders. The menu is affordable, and you can either build your own pizza or select from one of the tavern's specialty pies.
